6 Subscription models that work for any business.

  • Maintenance Retainer

    Recurring billing for work related to the life expectancy, or maintenance of a custom professional solution. Applies to web designers, architects, contractors, landscapers, Apple Care, etc.

    EXAMPLE

    Website design company makes a custom website for $2500, and charges a maintenance retainer of $19.95 a month to make minor updates, offer email support, and perform routine site maintenance.

    HOW TO SETUP

    1 Go to Subscriptions » Plans » Create. For each client, enter the client plan name, agreed upon billing amount, and billing interval, then save.

    2 After saving, find your plan in the plan table list, and click Action » Edit.

    3 When editing your plan, click Snippets » Link. Copy the plan Link, and paste it into an email or messeage the client, letting them sign up privately online for re-occuring maintenance payments.

  • Scheduled Services

    Recurring billing for services performed at set time periods. Applies to weekly lawn care services, yearly water filter replacements, weekly online content writers, etc.

    EXAMPLE

    A lawn care company offers monthly plans based on yard size, from small to medium and large yards. A lawn care representative evaluates the yard size, and determines the right plan to offer the customer. Once the customer agrees to the plan, they can sign up person using the rep's iPhone or Android device. Lawn care customers are now charged weekly, and can manage their payment info online.

    HOW TO SETUP

    1 Go to Subscriptions » Plans » Create. Create and save 3 separate plans, for example...

    Small Yards plan. Billed at $9.95 every week
    Medium Yard plan. Billed at $14.95 every week.
    Large Yard plan. Billed at $19.95 every week.

    2 After saving, find a plan in the plan table list, and click Action » Edit.

    3 When editing your plan, each plan will offer a Snippet » Link option, copy and paste these Links as a resource for future use. Plan Links can be used on an iPhone for a clean billing sign up form that can be presented in person to a customer.

    * Optionally, the customer can offer their credit card information over the phone to a lawn care rep, and the rep can sign up the customer online.

  • Scheduled Events

    Recurring billing for attending regularly scheduled events. Applies to karate classes, gym memberships, dance classes, weekly social meetups, etc.

    EXAMPLE

    A karate dojo offers monthly plans based on age, from young, to adolescent and adult. A karate employee has each new customer sign up either online, or in person on their website. Karate customers are charged monthly, and can manage their payment info online.

    HOW TO SETUP

    1 Go to Subscriptions » Plans » Create. Create and save 3 separate plans, for example...

    Young plan. Billed at $50 every month
    Adolescent plan. Billed at $60 every month.
    Adult plan. Billed at $70 every month.

    2 After saving, find your plans in the plan table list, and click Action » Edit.

    3 When editing your plan, click Edit » Snippets » Button. Copy and paste subscribe Button snippet into your website. Now customers can sign up for your scheduled events.

  • Content Protection

    Recurring billing for access to valuable online content. Applies to "how to" videos/content, valueable content download repositories, information research articles, premium blog content, etc.

    EXAMPLE

    A chef creates a subscription videos series on how to cook. Members pay $9.95 a month for access to watch his cooking videos, and read his instructions.

    * Cartloom's Content Protection setup requires RapidWeaver for Mac, and the Stacks plugin.

    HOW TO SETUP

    1 Go to Subscriptions » Plans » Create. Set a plan name, billing amount, and billing interval.

    2 After saving, find your plan in the plan table list, and click Action » Edit.

    3 When editing your plan, click Snippets » Protect. Drag and drop a Protect container from the Cartloom admin, into your RapidWeaver Stacks page, to create a protected content container.

    4 Add your valueable content inside the protect stack. Now, your content will be protect with an elegant sign in form. Subscribers can sign in to view content, while unsubscribers will be prompted to either sign in or subscribe to view protected content.

  • Service Retainer

    Recurring billing for on-demand professional service(s) given online, in person, or by phone. Applies to lawyers, accountants, consultants, technical support, etc.

    EXAMPLE

    A lawyer offers on-demand legal advice by phone or email. For this availability, he charges $150 every month.

    HOW TO SETUP

    1 Go to Subscriptions » Plans » Create. Set a plan name, billing amount, and billing interval, then save.

    2 After saving, find your plan in the plan table list, and click Action » Edit.

    3 When editing your plan, click Edit » Snippets » Button. Copy and paste subscribe Button snippet into your website. Now customers can sign up for access to your monthly services.

  • Ongoing Causes

    Recurring billing for causes that have no "end of work" timeline. Applies to donation causes, passion organisations, life conservations, churches, etc.

    EXAMPLE

    A non-profit organization called "Save the whales", lets patrons sign up online or over the phone, to donate $5, $25, or $50 a month to support the protection and research of whale habitats.

    HOW TO SETUP

    1 Go to Subscriptions » Plans » Create. Create and save 3 separate plans, for example...

    I Like Whales plan. Billed at $5 every month
    I Love Whales plan. Billed at $25 every month.
    I Am Whales plan. Billed at $50 every month.

    2 After saving, find your plans in the plan table list, and click Action » Edit.

    3 When editing your plan, click Edit » Snippets » Button. Copy and paste subscribe Button snippet into your website. Now customers can sign up for ongoing donations to your cause.
